This vacuum generator (also known as vacuum ejector) is designed to generate a vacuum level that is required for pick and place applications of objects and works based on the Venturi effect. The compressed air pressure range is 1 to 10 bar (14.5 to 145 psi), but the optimal pressure is 6 bar (87 psi). At this pressure, the maximum vacuum level is 80% and the air consumption is 13 l/min (0.78 m3/h, 0.46 scfm). The vacuum rate decreases with increasing vacuum levels and is maximally 10 l/min (0.6 m3/h, 0.35 scfm).
This vacuum ejector has three connection ports: a G 1/8 inch supply port, a G 1/8 inch vacuum port and a G 1/8 inch exhaust port. It’s made from nickel-plated brass. Suitable for a temperature range of -40 °C to 120 °C (-40 °F to 248 °F).

VEL series
The VEL series generators are single-stage vacuum ejectors. The ejectors from this series can a generate vacuum of up to 94%. Depending on the vacuum level, the vacuum rate varies from 13 to 41.4 l/min (0.78-2.48 m3/h, 0.46-1.45 scfm) and the evacuation time ranges from 1.4-7.3 s. The air consumption range is from 7.2 to 27.6 l/min (0.43-1.66 m3/h, 0.25-0.97 scfm). They have either two push-in connections or three G 1/8 inch ports.
