This Bürkert position feedback unit (type 8697) is mounted on top of Bürkert type 20xx valves with CLASSIC 40 mm, 50 mm, 63 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, 125 mm, 175 mm and 225 mm actuators. The unit transmits the valve end positions, and an M16 x 1.5 cable gland for electrical connection. This unit doesn`t contain an internal pilot valve to control the airflow, so an external pneumatic control valve is required. This unit is IECEx certified.

It registers the valve position via mechanical or inductive limit switches. External tubing is not needed, because the device has internal control air routing. LEDs show the status of the device along with the electrical position feedback directly on the unit itself. It is suitable for food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries thanks to the easy to clean housing, proven IP protection and chemically resistant materials.
