This 18V Hitman 1-5/8 in. SDS-Max Rotary Hammer delivers corded-type performance for heavy-duty concrete drilling and chiseling jobs. The Bosch GBH18V-40C Hitman Rotary Hammer delivers 6.7 ft-lbs. of impact energy (EPTA). That is unprecedented for a single-battery 18V 1-5/8 in. SDS-Max Rotary Hammer. It weighs 18.4 lbs. (including battery). This hammer is part of the PROFACTOR System, which pairs BITURBO Brushless Technology with a CORE18V PROFACTOR battery. BITURBO Brushless Technology is a high-performance motor and drive-train system designed to deliver power comparable to high-demand corded tools. It has rotary hammer and hammer-only modes, and Vario-Lock to rotate and lock the chisel. The anti-vibration system features a longer air cushion in the hammer tube and dampeners in the handle. It also has Soft Start and controlled RPM and BPM, making it easier to control drilling and chiseling applications. The hammer features an on-tool user interface for tool performance, feedback, and control. It has connectivity (module sold separately) to link the tool with the Bosch Toolbox App to provide immediate feedback of user settings. The kit includes 2 CORE18V PROFACTOR 12 Ah PROFACTOR Exclusive batteries, which deliver at least 50 percent more runtime than the CORE18V 8 Ah PROFACTOR Performance Battery. At only 3.04 lbs., this 12 Ah battery provides performance comparable to larger and heavier alternatives. The kit has a GAL18V-160C Hell-Ion Battery Turbo Charger with a turbo power boost mode 16 Amp charging power, which can charge a CORE18V PROFACTOR Exclusive battery to 50 percent in 22 minutes and 80 percent, in 36 minutes.
