G1/4” ELEMENT Drive Pneumatic Control Unit – 8697 – 248813

This Bürkert pneumatic control unit (type 8697) is mounted on top of Bürkert type 21XX valves with ELEMENT 50 mm actuators. The air flow is controlled with a 24V DC signal. The control unit replaces a solenoid valve that otherwise would be used. It features two-wire inductive limit switches and is suited for a 24 V DC feedback voltage. The unit has 6 mm hose plug-in ports to connect the air lines and an M16 x 1.5 cable gland for electrical connection. External tubing is not needed, because the device has internal control air routing. LEDs show the status of the device. The unit is ideal for use in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries thanks to the easy to clean housing, IP65/67 protection and chemically resistant materials. In combination with Burkert ELEMENT actuators, the unit provides spring chamber aeration that prevents contamination of the actuator chamber from the environment. This unit is UL certified.
