High quality EPDM low pressure steam hose with an inner diameter of 19 mm, outer diameter of 33 mm and bending radius of 115 mm. Suitable for a very large temperature range (-40 °C to 164 °C). The hose material is EPDM which makes it resistant to acids and alkalis and suitable for hot water and saturated steam. The operating pressure at 164 °C is 7 bar, for water at 20 °C the operating pressure is 7 bar. Steam exists in different states, wet saturated steam, dry saturated steam and superheated steam, dependent on the operating pressure and temperature. Superheated steam can damage steam hoses, therefore please look at our technical articles for more information on the relation between operating pressure, temperature and steam. It is important to drain the residual water after using the hose. The outer EPDM layer is perforated to ensure no cover bubbles or blisters form. This hose is sold at a pre-cut length of 1 m, we also offer rolls with a length of 40 m.

The HL-E low pressure steam hose series are cost effective high quality EPDM hoses. The hoses have a very large temperature range of -40 °C to 164 °C and are resistant to aggressive media like acids and alkalis. The series offers hoses with an internal diameter of 10 to 51 mm. The hoses are available in pre-cut lengths of 1, 3 and 10 meter or as a 40 meter roll.
