The housing material is made out of zinc die-cast and the filter has a bowl made of metal. The use of microfilters is required where a high level of compressed air purity is required. The finest particles (> 0.01 microns) and oil mist are separated here. A prefilter should be connected upstream to increase the service life. In order to extend the life of activated carbon filters, microfilters and prefilters are used.
