This Bürkert 2/2-way (type 3360) angle seat valve is designed for position control. The actuator’s position is controlled based on the set-point position, which can be given either by an analogue signal or a digital fieldbus. The actual position of the actuator is measured by a displacement transducer and compared to the set-point. If there is a difference between the two values, the electric motor drive is adjusted to correct the position.
This valve has welded end 2 inch ports. The valve has a stainless steel housing with a PTFE sealing. The valve is delivered as normally closed (NC), which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. The actuator has an energy storage unit. The unit can be used to set a safe position for the valve to return to in case of power loss.
For media temperatures ranging from -10 to 130°C (14 to 266°F) and a maximum pressure of up to 10 bar (140 psi). The valve has a Kv-value of 53 m3/h (Cv-value of 61.3 gpm).
